Integral Refrigeration – Wall Mounted Monoblock

Integral refrigeration can be a cost effective means to providing cooling to a coldroom, the integral refrigeration system is commonly known as a monoblock.

The system compromises of condensing unit, evaporator and control panel all within one item.

Integral refrigeration systems expel heat from the front of the system meaning that this system will increase the ambient temperature that the equipment is situated within.

Consideration should be made to the noise expelled by these units as levels can reach up to 60dBa @ 10m free field guide.

If installed within a high ambient and/or can expect heavy usage of the coldroom then a condensate pump and coil should be considered at the time of installation to remove the excess condensate being produced but in these conditions upgrading to a remote should be a consideration.

Hermetic

Hermetic condensing units are ideal for small and medium sized applications with minimal pipe runs between the coldroom and the condensing unit location.

Hermetic condensing units provided by Fosters are of air cooled type.

The condensing unit having a hermetically sealed compressor reduces the repair-ability of the unit.

The main advantage of using a packaged condensing units is shown below:

  • Suitable for medium sized pipe runs

Low Energy Remote – Foster Ultra

The Foster Ultra condensing unit provides excellent cooling and energy performance, the intelligent controls within the unit ensure the unit is working at the optimum conditions plus integrated low energy components ensure low running costs for the operator. This unit comes complete with fan speed controller and AKCC control technology.

Semi – Hermetic

This series of air cooled condensing units have been designed and built in the UK specifically for the ever increasing demand for high specification equipment. Manufactured within the UK by fully qualified staff under our quality control system in accordance with the pressure equipment regulations (97/23/EC), All equipment is CE marked and final test and inspection reports and declarations of conformity are available on request.

The semi hermetic condensing units uses selected models from either the Bock or Frascold compressor ranges, this ensures reliability & quality being the main criteria.

The semi hermetic series incorporates low, medium and high temperature condensing units designed to operate at evaporating temperatures ranging from -40°C up to +10°C dependent on application and design criteria.

Semi hermetic’s are classed as a repairable unit with modifications available to the unit at build stage ensure the correct components are fitted to suit the application.

The main advantage of using a semi hermetic vs. packaged condensing units is shown below:

  • Semi hermetic’s can cope with longer pipe runs
  • Adaptable to cope with vertical rises
  • Individual components can be replaced

Single Temperature Mini Condensing Unit Pack
